About the EDC

EDC Mission

The Pequannock Township Economic Development Committee is dedicated to improving the business climate of the township to attract and retain a diverse and prosperous mix of business, industry, commerce, and employment for the mutual benefit of the local residents and our valuable business partners.

Pick Pequannock

Pick Pequannock, a shop and dine local campaign created by the EDC, encourages township residents to spend their money right here in Pequannock Twp. Supporting local businesses increases the local multiplier effect as more of your money stays local for longer. One of the ways that the Economic Development Committee helps to drive local consumers to local businesses is by implementing an initiative program, Property Tax Reward Program. This program essentially awards the local consumer with a tax credit for shopping at a local participating business. This benefits the Pequannock Twp. resident who works at lowering their property taxes, and the Pequannock Twp. business who benefits from an increase in business. So next time you shop, dine, or play, Pick Pequannock!
