Pequannock Township is a close-knit township that is located in Morris County NJ, roughly 20+ miles west of NYC. Pequannock Twp has a rich history and was formed in 1740. There are 15,000+ people who make up this beautiful township with 6,500 households and just under 4,000 families. Pequannock Twp is conveniently accessible due to the highways that run through or near the township (rt. 23, I-287). According to the 2010 census the median family income was $109,500+ for Pequannock Twp. The township has three elementary schools, one middle school, one high-school, and four private schools.

There is an award winning golf course right here in town named Sunset Valley Golf Course. In 2011 Pequannock Twp was listed as one of New Jersey's top towns in NJ Monthly. Local Government

Since the 1950s' Pequannock Township has governed under the council manager plan E form of government under the Faulkner Act. Town-council is represented by five members elected at large to four year terms.
